Shihan Kevin Miller


Kevin has been in the martial arts since 1985, and was promoted to Shodan in December of 1989 by Michael Garner. He has had the opportunity to study with and attend seminars from first generation students of O’Sensei Tatsuo Shimabuku, including Masters Harold Long, Don Nagle, Steve Armstrong, Harold Mitchum, and Tokumura Kensho, as well as many other direct students of the Founder of Isshinryu such as Angi Uezu, Toby Cooling, Pete Mills and many other Isshinryu Hall of Famers and pioneers. He also holds rank in Daihashiryu Bushido Jujitsu.

He has worked as a broadcaster and radio personality in east Tennessee for many years. Kevin is an avid singer and songwriter, and is currently a real estate developer. He recieved the rank of Rokudan (6th degree) in December of 2013, and has his own Dojo at Sevierville National Fitness Center.
